Access Partner – Healthcare – Dublin West – March 2020 – Urgent

Our client, a major Healthcare company wish to recruit an “Access Partner” based at their offices in Dublin West to join their Market Access team.

The Access Partner is a full-time office-based role. The Access Partner is an enthusiastic advocate of his/her area of expertise. His/Her mission is to get our clients’ medicines to patients as fast as possible for as long as possible. He/she will work as part of the Squad team to drive our clients’ vision and lead the Access agenda within the Squad.

Key Tasks

  • Lead the development and execution of high-quality P&R strategies and HTA submissions to deliver on the Squad’s mission.
  • Lead Squad engagement with national Access stakeholders i.e. NCPE, NCCP and support the wider squad in value messaging at a regional level.
  • Build fast and maintain market access for our clients’ specialist products through targeted communication with various stakeholders in the Irish health system: regional and national.
  • Identifying new ways of working together with our clients’ key stakeholders and identification of new projects that support Patient Access to company medicines.
  • Aligns Access strategies with the Squad’s strategic objectives.
  • Development of new strategic initiatives securing our clients’ long-term commitment to secure all eligible patients access to company products.
  • Work with Squad members to develop and deliver value messaging and engagement plans for all stakeholders throughout the Access journey.
  • Shape the payer environment and share relevant information to inform and shape opinion regarding the value of our products.

Person/Skills Profile

  • Patient focus
  • High learning agility is desirable
  • Sound understanding and ability to apply the key concepts of economic evaluation including economic modelling
  • Ability to work in an agile environment
  • Demonstrate company Core Values
  • Degree in Economics or Science, Pharmacist or equivalent professional background
  • Strong strategic thinker
  • Interest in and knowledge about the Irish health care system
  • Good sense of numbers, analysis and scenario planning
  • Ability to gather intel, identify opportunities, think of strategic implications and contribute to solutions
  • Demonstrated ability and strength in agile working principles and methodologies is desirable
  • Entrepreneurial attitude is essential, e.g. challenges the status quo and takes calculated risks
  • Is focused on collaboration and is a strong team player
