Clinical Sales Specialist - Pain Management - Dublin based - Urgent - October 2017
Our client, a major medical/surgical company wish to appoint a Clinical Sales Specialist - Pain Management based in Dublin/Leinster area to join their Orthopaedic team.
Reporting to the Orthopaedics Director the successful candidate will be responsible for the Pain management portfolio of products and be responsible for sales and clinical support to your customer base. Terrotory wise, the country is split in two. This role will cover Hospitals from Dublin to Galway and up from there and include Northern Ireland.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Achieve quantitative and qualitative objectives and targets;
Take ownership of accounts
Implement an effective account planning process for your territory
Develop relationship with key opinion leaders and product champions through effective communication, relationship building and partnership.
Continuously develop knowledge and skills in line with business, product, organisational, market and customer requirements, keeping up to date with all relevant publications.
Manage appropriate commercial & contractual agreements, maintaining service, pricing and commitment with customers.
Support all departments to achieve the overall goals and targets of the company
Visit the customer base as required or as directed by your line manager
Satisfactorily complete all training courses deemed necessary for the position
Provide the necessary level of Product and Clinical Training for the customer/client base as directed by the company
Attend and participate in all Exhibitions and Congresses as directed by your line manager
Utilise relevant sales and marketing effectiveness tools in account management
Qualifications
Candidates should hold a Life Science Degree or equivalent and have a minimum of 3 years sales experience
Experience within a healthcare/pharma or surgical company environment
Experience with pain management products and customer base desirable
Strong working knowledge of the HSE and the NHS
Good team working skills
Computer Skills: Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
The ideal candidate should have current or previous Hospital Representative experience.
