Business Development Manager – Medical Compression Hosiery – Ireland (26 Counties) – October 2017 - Urgent
Our client, a global medical, well-being and sports company wants to establish a presence in Ireland.
Their employees are the heart of their business, in addition they have an exceptional product portfolio.
Due to expansion they are looking for a person who can demonstrate outstanding selling and/or relationship management skills, to cover the Republic of Ireland. Ideally you will be geographically located within this area.
The role will be Business Development Manager for their Medical Compression Hosiery Division and the position is a full time permanent role.
Key Activities & Accountabilities:
·Selling /demonstrating medical compression hosiery within the HSE and to Community practitioners.
·Developing current customers and gaining new customers
·Territory planning, time management, negotiating and closing are all required to guarantee target achievement.
·In conjunction with the above, organising and conducting training sessions, attendance at conferences and exhibitions, as well as clinic participation.
·You will also undertake contractual preparation within the limits of company guidelines, through to contract conclusion.
·Regular reporting to your National Sales Manager and within the Company CRM system will be required, giving an in-depth summary of your sales territory and market environment/trending.
Experience in Medical selling would be a distinct advantage

·Excellent business acumen
·Competent negotiator
·Able to close
·Tenacious
·Team player
·Competent MS Office skills
An excellent salary, circa €45k basic Salary (dependent on experience) plus Bonus for target achievement, Company Car. Private Healthcare, Employer Pension Contribution, 25 days annual holiday (Excl. Public Holidays)
