Sales Manager/Business Development Director – Unlicensed Medicines – EMEA Region - Dublin based – August 2018 - Urgent

This is a rare opportunity to join a new pharma company in Ireland as aSales Manager/Business Development Director in the niche pharmaceutical field of Unlicensed Medicines. Working for a specialist pharmaceutical manufacturer with significant experience in this sector, you would be representing a highly respected and much valued, ethical partner within the EMEA region, providing essential medicines to meet individual patients' needs.

This role is a permanent full time position

The Role
Reporting to the Commercial Director - Global Unlicensed Medicines, the role holder is responsible for driving sales growth, market share, and exceeding turnover level targets across the EMEA region for the company's Unlicensed Medicines in the secondary care market.

The jobholder will be field based, preferably living in the Dublin area and will be responsible for assessing opportunities, developing and executing effective territory sales plans and exceeding sales targets.

Person Specification
You will be a highly motivated, enthusiastic individual with:-

- A minimum of 3-4 years sales experience in pharmaceuticals or directly in Unlicensed Medicines
- Demonstrated sales success over that period
- You will have good commercial acumen and an exemplary track record of successful sales.
- You will enjoy being part of a successful team but will thrive on your competitive ability to be the best and use your initiative to solve problems and grow the business.
- You will have a good understanding of the structure of the Pharma Industry and the process of gaining contracts in secondary care.
- You will have experience and the ability to communicate at all levels effectively and be comfortable presenting to small and large groups of people.
Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills
- You will have excellent planning and organisational skills, be analytical and computer literate.

An excellent basic salary circa 90k plus bonus and strong benefits package will be offered to the successful candidate
